22nd Anniversary SORDID LIVES Screening Celebration & Benefit for the DEL SHORES FOUNDATION with Del Shores, Ann Walker, Rosemary Alexander & Newell Alexander Saturday, October 29, 2022, 7:30PM VIP Pre Meet-and-Greet, 6:15PM Camelot Theatres at the Palm Springs Cultural Center We planned a 20th Anniversary Celebration screening of Sordid Lives for 2020, and, welp! SO, JOIN US for a 22nd Anniversary Celebration instead! See the film that started it all back on the big screen where it truly exploded in Palm Springs at the Camelot Theatres. AND, IT'S A COSTUME CONTEST!! Come as your favorite Sordid character - fan fav or deep cut from the series or sequel. (That extra outside the Corner Stop in A Very Sordid Wedding looked awfully familiar.) With a fun bunch of Sordid collectibles for the top 3 costumes! (You don't have to dress up - but it'll be fun!) The evening is celebration and a fundraiser for the Del Shores Foundation. We just returned from our first Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival in Dallas and it was a massive success as we brought together LGBTQ+ industry professionals and 12 of our Writers Search winners and finalists for a weekend of readings, panels and community! We've already launched our 2022 Writers Search and this screening will support funding for our programming. We're extremely excited that our Del Shores Foundation Writers Search Screenplay Winners, Serayah Silver & Monet Noelle Marshall, will be joining us as well.
