SATURDAY NIGHT SCREENING of SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES film **FREE** Only registration required! For those who can - suggested donation of $30 A special screening Del Shores' award-winning film Southern Baptist Sissies featuring Q&A with stars of the film DALE DICKEY (Winter's Bone, Claws), BOBBIE EAKES (Bold and the Beautiful, All My Children), ANN WALKER (Sordid Lives), and EMERSON COLLINS (A Very Sordid Wedding, RENT: LIVE.) In keeping with the theme of the Writers Festival and making your work a reality, Southern Baptist Sissies was entirely crowd-funded, and shot as a film/theatre hybrid in order to get the film made! Join us for the screening and discussion. ALL readings, panels and this screening are FREE and open to the PUBLIC. Only registration is required to attend to ensure everyone has access. **IF you can afford to pay, make a donation to the Del Shores Foundation in lieu of buying a ticket. The focus of the weekend is readings of all three winning scripts from our Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival. Friday, 2/23, 8pm - Reading of the winning Short script SMOKE BREAKS, by William Mettlach and "One-On-One with Jack Heifner" interviewed by Del Shores Saturday, 2/24, 3pm - Reading of the winning Play script A THIRD WAY, featuring the cast of the world premiere production coming to Actors Express in October Sunday, 2/25, 3pm - Reading of the winning Screenplay script ISTANBUL CROSSING Saturday, 24 - PANELS WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS 10AM - Bringing Your Story To Life 11:30AM - Making It Happen Yourself 1:00PM - Meet the Producers **Saturday is a three different one-hour panels, we'll have breaks in between and an hour break before the Winning Play reading at 3pm. If you want to join for more than one or all of the panels, just make sure you register for each one individually.
